Oh how I love.....Them!

Oh how I love.... the JAZZ! Besides the fact that they got it handed to them last night, they have really stepped it up in the playoffs. I really hope they pull it together and close the series against the nuggets tomorrow! Boy how I wish I was in Utah watching the game live, the dreams I could dream! The worst part about staying up to watch the Jazz game is that I am so full of energy I never get to bed until 1am, which doesn't go well for work the next day.

Speaking of LOVE! I sure do love my little family! Here is our most recent update in life!

Kyler:
What a busy boy. He qualified for the relay team for his 1st grade class. Though they didn't win he was still happy! Kyler also currently holds the record for the most pull-ups in 1st grade, with 6 & he is in 2nd place for hanging the longest on the pull-up bar at 1:12. I had the opportunity to go with Kyler on a field trip to Las Vegas to the Lied Children's Museum. It was quite the adventure, but the kids' had a blast, and for that it was worth it.

Jaelin:
I feel like I have finally gotten somewhere with this little girl in learning. She has wanted nothing to do with it, but we are now learning to write our numbers, and she is about 90% comfortable at writing 1-10 all on her own! Kindergarten is just around the corner (YAY!) so we are getting ready to do the dreaded shots.

Baby: 12 weeks
I just need to say how much I absolutely LOVE my doctor and his true concern for me. He knows the things that I need mentally to survive this pregnancy.

All my tests this far have came back good. Our biggest concern has been cramping, but we hope that is just stress and will subside. Doctor did a quick ultrasound to check the babies heartbeat, as it wasn't beating as fast as it should with the Doppler. Ultrasound showed that heart beating regular, so all is good!

Tony & I:
Well nothing new again. We have been working on the backyard and Tony has done an amazing job thus far. Pool is clean (well it was until this awful wind storm) and we are ready for some summer pool parties! We have made some progress in the backyard, and its starting to look a bit more relaxing.

That about wraps up our family life. I must say we are likely some of the most boring people around, but in all honesty I am content with that. I love that I don't make plans and I can do things based on how I am feeling that given day!

Baby here we come...

Kyler & Jaelin are ecstatic. They don't understand why it takes so long. Why it starts so little in my tummy then will come out big like Junhyo & Julhyo (nephews). Jaelin is stressed over a name since it can't be Butterfly or Flower. Kyler wants to share a room whether its a boy or girl.

SO... if you haven't quite caught on yet, we are pregnant. I am just at 10 weeks, and it has been a roller coaster of days. Give it this isn't my first, but after 5 years it kinda is all new to me. This baby was not planned, but welcomed. As my close friends know I have been dying for August to roll around, which means Jaelin will be in Kindergarten. (no more babysitter, less stress)

Other then baby, nothing new or exciting has been going on in our life's. We work, go home and then go back to work again. Pretty uneventful.

April Family Update:

Kyler - 6 years 10 months:
He is your average boy. LOVES anything outdoors. He has done SO well this year in school having only missed 2 spelling words the entire school year (I believe they have had 230 total words). He loves to do math but hates to read. His favorite thing in school is PE. He adores Mr. Durbin and speaks of him daily. The most special day for him (or maybe more me) was when he came home and told me that Mr. Durbin said he is as strong as his uncle Paul. Mr.Durbin also shares wrestling pictures of Paul with Kyler and he thinks that is the coolest thing ever. It warms my heart to know that Paul was loved and respected by more then family.

Jaelin - 5 years 1 month:
Wow, were to start. This little girl is a handful of joy. She loves to dance & sing. Her biggest passion in life is music. She is a smart little cookie, but refuses to learn how to recognize her abc's & 123's. It amazes me how she can memorize every Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga song but wants nothing to do with what I try and teach her. She has also decided she doesn't want to go to school anymore. Cause school equals shots. Her favorite toys right now are My Little Ponies and her favorite color is purple. She loves to play Wii with her brother and jump on the trampoline.

Baby - 10 weeks:
Pregnancy is not my cup of tea and not that I am much older but unfortunately my diabetes has only gotten worse in the last 5 years. Baby is growing smaller then should be, which is abnormal this early in pregnancy, even with diabetes. Doctor decided to push back the due date to be safe. Right now I get to visit the doctor every 3 weeks, to make sure the baby stays healthy. I have already had 2 ultrasounds, an EKG, too much blood work & am procrastinating on a 24-hour urine collection (ugh.). The doctor has also ordered me to see an ophthalmologist, a nutritionist & a diabetic specialist (he'd rather be safe then sorry, and so would I) Baby is very fortunate to have an amazing doctor with a HUGE heart to help us get through this!

Jamie -
Other then being a mom, housekeeper, and wife I continue to work a full time job. Fortunately for me, I really do love my job. I don't have to talk to people or listen to complaints or deal with sales people. My plans for this year was some major remodeling both inside & outside our home, but with the unexpected welcoming of a baby, those plans have been pushed to the side for awhile.

Tony -
Tony is like having a 3 (or 4th soon) child to take care of. He loves his toys, unfortunately they aren't as cheap as the kids' toys. Between his mustang, jeep and this new (old) ford he just inherited he keeps himself busy. Tony s favorite thing is to be outdoors riding the 4wheeler, working on the cars, trimming the palm trees (no one really likes to do that) and playing with the kids.
